So I would take visiting oil execs from other countries on tours of Alberta oil drilling or refining plants. I noticed then that whenever I was onsite, that my Crohn's symptoms flared up. So even at that time I wondered if the oil/gas industry was leaching something into the water or the air that was increasing our susceptibility.
